Mass Effect 2 Quicklook  Blog by -Moroes-,  Category: Games

Finally managed to get the quick look on the net.  Once again sorry about the out of sync video and audio, I know it makes it very distracting but I made 3 different versions of this and due to mic and software issues this is the best I could do Frown.  Review coming soon.

@Sleven: I would love that, but I don't have the money for Adobe software, and I don't want to get it illegaly.

There is a software by adobe which I see my elder brother works with some time. See you can manage to get that software for your future editing.

@Koshai: The story of Mass Effect 2 changes according to the decisions you made in Mass Effect 1 (if you are importing your character, which gives you the most of the story) so not everyone will have exactly the same storyline.  Choices you make in Mass Effect 2 impact the end as well, and will impact your story in Mass Effect 3.  Its actually a interesting system, and I think BioWare nailed it.

I heard that the story of Mass Effect 2 changes depending on how you finish Mass Effect 1. I may be wrong.

Then I'll try to buy both the copies together Smile

@Tanya: You won't be getting the full experience unless you play the first one.  It will be very confusing to you if you just jump to Mass Effect 2.  Mass Effect is only like 20 dollars, so its worth buying.

@SitZal: Yeah I was running with 4 gigs of RAM, an Geforce 9000 and I was still encountering some lagg issues, although 95% of the game ran smooth.

@Sleven: I used the Wegame client, it actually worked pretty well I just think theres a bug in the game where during a loading screen my microphone pops, and the audio gets pushed back.  Used Windows Movie Maker to edit/compress it.

Which software did you use for these two? The capture was nice. Only the sound was misplaced at some places.

Nice work. I gave them for download and the site was 180mb. lol. So I had to watch it online. Do you think I'll have to play the first game to get along with this one? Really looking forward to the review Smile

@Koshai: The original video size was 2-3 Gigabytes.  I compressed it to 112 MB per video.  The graphics are amazing, but  my video quality isn't Smile.

The graphics look the same as the last one. I dont know its my point of view. I loved the captain's room. Interesting addition. The galaxy map upgrade is the best thing the developers did. Otherwise everything is the same. Great work with the video. At least i got to know what's inside.

@King: That was actually the third one I did.  The first one you couldn' t hear anything but the game.

@Sleven: Hopefully I can get some decent software when I do it Tongue out.

@RON: Thanks, still kind of angry about the audio issues though.

I loved the costume customization and the animations were mind blowing. Amazingly cool. I didn't play the first one so not sure what you did with that solar view and the landings. What was it about?

Looking forward to the video review. These two are like tutorials for noobs like me

Nice job with this. My only complaint is that I had to turn my volume up pretty high to be able to hear it. The Mass Effect games really look great and I wish I could play them.
