iPhone Apps & Games: Tap Tap Revenge 2  Feature by fishdalf

Tap Tap Revenge 2 is the latest iteration of the Tap Tap gaming series by Tapulous – a rhythm game application for the iPhone operating system. It features over 150 songs and many more are added to the roster every day.

The purpose of the game – similar to games such as Guitar Hero – is to tap balls when they reach a line at the bottom of the screen. When the balls are hit to the beat you gain points, which eventually turn into a multiplier when multiple notes are hit in succession.

The game also features a mini-career mode that sees you completing a list of achievements; these include playing a certain number of tracks and playing the game on successive days. None of them are too challenging, but form just enough of a reason to keep you coming back every now and again.

They have also vamped up the online mode here, making it easier to find a game and that little bit more accessible.

The game now also includes Facebook support.

Personally? No, but the game does have high scores and online leaderboards.

I was watching my friend play this just yesterday. Another reason why I want a touch or iPhone.

It really is. Once you get passed the initial barrier of using your fingers in this way; it really turns out to be rather fun and addictive. I'm currently deciding what method is better for me, the two or the three fingered technique.
