Hi everyone! Have you ever thought of our newest members when they join the site? They probably don't like the default NF avatar. I decided to creat some. Any feedback is always welcome!

 

P.S. I think they don't have the appropriated size but I think you get an idea. Wink Also, I can creat a few more( need to work on the purple/red/blue combination), I'll add it in the first post.

i have nothing against the default avatars, mostly because nobody ever uses default avatars.

what could be a nice idea though, is to have a bunch of avatars available for the users to chose. an avatar database of sorts. users would be able to submit avatars (like these ones you posted) and if a newcomer doesn't have any avatar, he could pick one from the database.

I say we have a contest. Users submit their default avatars and then we vote for the best. All participents get an emblem. The best submissions are made default avatars for the site.

I agree with this idea. There hasn't been any contest in while. And, this is something that can be taken into consideration. Looking forward to see what the admins have to say about your idea.
