I'm thinking it is the PS2 version.  The wii version is hard to play.  The brush techniques are really hard to pull off on the wii. I think c_rake has played this game for quite awhile so I think it is the PS2 version.

@c_rake - okami on the wii or PS2?

i actually didn't like okami the first time i played. i played on the PS2.

now when i played it on the wii, it's a whole different story. granted, takes a while to get used to the controls and "shake to attack" isn't the most wrist-friendly mechanic, but it's sooooooo much better to do the paint techniques.

Whaaaaat? How could you say the paint brush controls are ahrd on the Wii? If anything, they're a lot better, and makes the gameplay a little faster in battles.

@BrunoBRS - PlayStation 2. I refuse to play the Wii version after I heard about the cuts they made.

@Yaoi - Probably because the brush isn't steady on the Wii like it was on the PS2. The slighht movements your hand makes tend to make the remote shake quite a bit on screen. And given how important acuracy is when initiating brush techniques, I can see that causing loads of frustration.

@c_rake : Honestly, as long as you're not on the other side of the room when playing and you have the sensor bar on the right sensitivity, there's no shaking. And if there was, the game usually knows what you're trying to do anyway. The only time I had to redraw a tech. was with the lightning. it has to be super-striaght, but that just meant drawing it slower.

In my experiences, I never had any problems. But that's just my experience.

@c_rake - what? i played through the whole game and the only issue i had with the brush was in crossing the names from the list, since you needed to make it a perfect horizontal line.

and what cuts?

Well that makes sense then xD

Yeah, now I just ignore them when they ride past unless the one they are chasing is on foot (then that one is always the outlaw/escaped prisoner) because it's just too hard to tell which one is the right one when they are riding that fast since I've guessed a few other times and it's been the lawman both times haha and I don't want to keep losing honor from it. Just thought I'd let you know so you didn't keep losing honor from it as well when you get your PS3 fixed. Smile

@BrunoBRS - Nothing much: just the end credits and epilogue, along with paper-filter -- one of those small touches that made all the difference -- being toned down to the point where it almost isn't there.

I know -- it's stupid to get worked up over such minor details. But when it comes to Okami, I'm a bit of a purest.

Maybe I just suck at the wii.  But I've noticed the wii's accuracy was never exact.

@c_rake - i prefer the wii's graphic style :/ the "washed colors" (lacking a better term) look cooler than a paper filter to me.

what has changed in the end credits and the epilogue? i remember okami's ending is one of the few endings i nearly cried... so epic!

I've been playing Final Fantasy X-2 PS2 version and came across a Tonberry.

I wasn't expecting to fight an enemy with alot of HP.

My Character levels are:

Yuna: Level 8

EXP: 876 Till Next Level: 58 exp.

HP:468

Rikku: Level 9

EXP: 887 Till Next Level: 279 exp.

HP: 513

Paine: Level 8

EXP: 845 Till Next Level: 38 exp.

HP: 468

I set them all to warrior status for this fight since Tonberry uses "Chef's Knife" which causes around 50-220 damage but it all depends on what level your characters are currently(I think).  I  used alot of potions for this fight since it was a long one.  Tonberry would attack in a pattern so it was predictable who was going to be attacked and who to heal.  This fight was pretty much just long and boring.  Tonberry is immune to any of the songstress's spells/dances so it is useless to use a songstress.  I'd suggest using a warrior because the Tonberry only uses physical attacks and the warriors defense is higher for physical attacks also the warrior's HP is higher than the other dresssphere's HP effects.
