More challenging than inFamous? I thought inFamous was hard! If Prototype is harder, then I don't think I'll ever be playing that. I had hard enough time getting through inFamous just on Normal, more frustration is the last thing I need in my life.

I only beat it as a Hero. I've played a good portion of the Infamous campaign, but I'm finding that the gameplay changes don't fit my playing style, so I'm having a hard time motivating myself to keep going. I'll probably just review the game with the knowledge I have (which is a lot) and base my criticisms on that.

Heck of a game, though. Really looking forward to the sequel.

I definitely found it harder but some may have not, I more found it harder because of the timed side missions to help with upgrades, but others probably found them really easy. It's a great game though, especially with the Web of Intrigue and the story is very good, but the environment, controls and overall gameplay I enjoyed inFAMOUS more. I also prefered the Hero storyline more than the inFAMOUS one and I liked the powers more for Hero as well, but both have their own benefits and enjoyment factors.

Also if you ever want video footage for a review on a game that I own (Like inFAMOUS) to go with your review as a little teaser feel free to let me know Via PM as well, and let me know what kind of video clip you're looking for and I will get it done for you. Smile

I'm also the same way with games though, if it gets too hard I lose interest and it takes away from the enjoyment for me. I'm not a hardcore gamer, I am a casual one and I like to play to relax and enjoy the story of the game. A few challenges are nice, but when you have to do things over and over and over and over again until you get it perfect in order to move on throughout the entire game I don't find it very enjoyable at all.

Dragon Age Origins is one game that I really didn't enjoy playing.

I've actually been thinking about trying the game myself, so what did you not like about it?

Prototype is one of the coolest games I've played. My vote goes to that as I didn't play inFamous. As far as I know both the games are equally rated. Though Prototype had a slightly better rating.

Wait, is that a typo? I've never played Prototype but I know inFamous received significantly higher review scores.

Right now I really haven't been playing any games. NBA 2K10, but that's only every once in a while.

He's probably talking about GameSpot's score. inFAMOUS got a 9.0 and Prototype got an 8.5 over there.

Well still, 9 is higher than 8.5. Tongue out

Oops! Infact the ratings were higher for InFamous in all the gaming sites. IGN has 9 above for inFamous and for Prototype 7 or something. But Prototype was really better imo.

@David_D : It's the lengthiness of DAO that I did't like. The story gets interesting after few hours of play but the gameplay wasn't really very appealing. Everyone else loved it, so don't count my words.

The only thing that has stopped me is that I normally don't like RPG's and also I hear it's pretty difficult, I don't mind a challenge but if it's really difficult then I definitely won't enjoy it.

@David_D : Then I won't suggest you to play it. The game is purely RPG element. Unless you enjoy this kind, I hardly doubt you'll enjoy the game. Unless you like sword fighting and magic.

Probably not, I'll do more looking in on that and Borderlands when I get closer to finishing the games I have already. Same with Demon Souls, all 3 are supposed to be amazing games and I'd hate to miss out just because of the RPG label, just need to gather my information and make a decision since out of those 3 I hope to play at least one of them.
