OFFICIAL : Manchester City have secured the singing of German international Georger Boateng from Hamburg for an undisclosed fee.

Jerome Boateng

Boateng signed a 5-year contract.

Rumor: Benfica shows interest in Sebastien Leto (Panathinaikos)

 

An offer has beed made to adquire the pass of the Argentinian. 10 million euros, unoficial numbers.

"I know there's some smoke and that will probably have gotten a document to our office for a first approach, but there is still no official proposal for Leto by Benfica. Ten million is seductive, "said Giannis Venki, vice president of Panathinaikos.

"Negotiations should start Monday," he added. It seems that, if confirmed the offer, Benfica will succeed to the extent that Panathinaikos is intended to reduce the wage bill. The decision belongs to the direction (the shareholders will have a word) and the coach Nikos Nioplias.

 

Can someone here can give me a detailed info about Leto? All I know is that he belongs to Liverpool, right?

Player belongs to Panathinaikos, it's just that Liverpool will get a 25% of the money if Leto gets transferred. The rumours are mainly trigerred from the fact that Di Maria is possibly heading to Real Madrid for a fee of 40 million Euro.

I see, thanks for the info. Di Maria is probably to Real Madrid but nothing official yet. One thing's for sure, Di Maria will not play in Benfica next season. He has the big sharks around him and one of them should make him a purposal that he probably won't deny.

Manchester stopped their interest in Ajax striker Luis Suarez. They can't afford the 36 million euros now. Maybe they'll find a way if he plays a great WC

Besiktas have completed the €7,3m signing of  Inter Milan winger Ricardo Quaresma, the Turkish club have announced on their website.

The Portugal international will move to Besiktas after two years with the Serie A champions in which he found playing time very limited.
