Microsoft sure has won it with motion controls. I think they have even beat the wii. Well maybe not yet but in the distant future I think the camera could work better then the wiimote.

Seriously? For one we really don't know anything about it other than the little presentation shown at E3. Not too mention it's way too late for Microsoft or Sony to catch up in motion controls. Wii already won all the casual gamers over when it was first announced. Honestly I don't like the idea of not having any type of controller in your hands. It makes the gameplay feel awkward and there's just certain things that aren't possible without the ability to press buttons.

It is never too late for a company to jump into an area of gaming, also this motion is far superior to the wiis, not only is it just motion controlled, it is voice, and even size controlled. Plus it is not as if this is planned to replace the 360s current set up of gameplay, this is just meant to be another nice add on for 360 players to enjoy, also using your voice makes up for the use of buttons just simply say the action you want done.

Voice isn't as precise as a button. Imagine playing an FPS rather than holding down a button I'm going to be yelling "shoot shoot shoot shoot shoot shoot"? And like you said this is just going to be an add-on which makes me doubt if people are really going to support it with games.

yeah imagine, nobody claimed it was going to work this way, MS isnt even saying this will be there main control scheme, your making too many assumptions too early in its announcement.

I don't feel the motion controls for both Sony and Microsoft are really going to take off until the next generation of consoles. Anything they do at this point will feel tacked on.
