Trainee mods are still in training and don't have their full moderation power yet. Normal moderators have normal moderation powers while super mods can do pretty much everything.

Do super mods ban? I know master mods do on GameSpot.

Super Moderators at the moment cannot ban users.

Is there something a super mod does that a normal mod doesn't?

Hmmm good question. The admins should know more on that issue.

At the moment we're still working on the whole moderation feature along with many other components of the site at the same time. At the moment there is no distinct difference in duties between a normal and a super moderator, however there is a difference with the level of access in the administration panel. Super moderators are the ones whom we (administrators) trust the most, and are leading examples of the community.
