You can also just PM us. Either way's fine, really.

When I send it through "Send Us News" option, I think all writers can see it. So whoever get it earlier, may publish it asap. But sending PM may have a late response.

This upgrade has been done. The Writer status may not be showing up for everyone, but it soon will.

When I was talking about the PM thing I was referencing sending us suggestions for things regarding coverage and such. As far as news submissions go, the "Send US News" module is the better option.

Thanks. Last night I couldn't send two successive news using the News Submit feature. But again, say, I sent you one suggestion via PM & other may not know what I've sent. But making a thread will let others know what I'm suggesting & which may make them generate other ideas as well.

Not to sound nitpicky, but what's the hold up? Shouldn't all of us on staff have that status now? Just curious.

The work has actually been done but there seem to be some problems. Which we intend to fix by this week. Thanks for your patience.

I'm wondering why your status in the first post is Writer, but here it says User.

Seems fine to me. If the topic creator is a writer, it would show "Writer" in status.  Another way to see diferent status is when a moderator creats a topic, status Writer, then if the same moderator replies, it shows "Normal Moderator/Super Moderator", depending on the rank.
