A very odd statistic that my friend told me (he owns a shop for repairing and customizing Wiis, Xboxs, and PS3s in the Atlanta area) is that the same amount of PS3's break down, if not more than the Xbox 360.

yea with the older models the YLOD is becoming an issue, obviously nowhere near the RROD but it is becoming more appaerant as of recently it seems.

I believe what Moroes said, because Microsoft's customer support from what I hear is better than Sony's so more people send it inrather than take it to a repair shop. By no means does that say the PS3 breaks down as much as the 360.

well, 360 is definitely higher than the other 2 together, that i'm sure. and the wii is last... if you don't consider nintendo's "lets murder every single modded wii with our new update!"
