June 25th... Portugal vs. Brazil. I'm not too sure but i think it's been 24 to 30 years since they last played each other... Canana, correct me if i'm wrong.

I think the last time that Portugal and Brazil were in an official match was in the WC England 66. We won 3-1.

First of all, well done and good work on creating the topic bizzy Laughing Secondly, I'd like to answer to the topic's poll saying "other" meaning England. And before starting hailing me keep this on your mind. England only won World Cup 1966 which was hosted in England and after years and years of examination, technology helped and proved that the ball never passed the line... So, for me, if England wins this World Cup, it would be a great upset for me.

Of course by saying "upset" we could imply many things. Seriously, if New Zealand makes it to the next stage, that would be THE upset for me.

Now about the groups...

Group A

The whole stadium will boo France in every single game. Traditionally the host of the World Cup qualifies for the next round but... Wishful prediction: South Africa and Mexico.

Group B

Greece's group Smile Surprisingly, the last and only time that we took part in a World Cup was in 1994. Back then, we had Argentina and Nigeria in our group and the memories were not good at all. In fact, we still haven't scored a single goal. Anything better than that is a success.

Group C

England and USA, next group please.

Group D

Germany and Australia are favourties to qualify, I'd love to see Serbia making an upset.

Group E

Holland by miles, the rest will fight

Group F

Italy need to be careful and fresh

Group G

Right.... Essien and Drogba can cause a lot of pain to Portugal, let alone Brazil. This one is the toughest of groups.

Group H

Spain and of course Switzerland (do I need to say more than the name Blatter?)

Group G is the most difficult.

The draw wasn't very friendly to Greece as well.

^ ^ Well I'd consider a huge success if we made it to the next round. IF and only IF we stay focused, determined and be fresh we stand a chance. But it's very difficult and I keep my expectations low.
