Oh hey, Not many people know me here. But I've been a part of the Soccer Addict Union for quite a long time. And have been an avid football lover.

Now talking about the World cup, Its been a good world cup till now , until it was made better by the germans yesterday. They were superb on the ball, on the attack, did'nt get much to defend, but whatever they did turned to gold. The lahm save in the start was crucial, coz if the socceroos got that early start, they would start defending in large numbers. But they went on the attack, and so did germany. They made full use of their slow defenders. And the through balls placed by most of the german players were on the spot. Ozil was fantastic and so was Muller. The youngsters sure gave Germany a tough time.

P.S- I'm an argentine supporter Wink

^ ^ So happy seeing you around cnav, thanks for responding to my message, I appreciate it Smile

I agree with everything you said about Germany. I think they will (and they actually already have) play much more as a team without Ballack, which will deffo increase their team work rate. I was kinda shocked seeing Schweinsteiger playing as a defensive midfielder and rarely going forward!! Ozil was good, the question is can he go all the way on that tempo till the end of the world cup? We will see.

The game that might grab my attention for today is Italy - Paraguay. Looking forward to see what Oscar Cardozo can do against the world champions.

The match ends in a Dutch victory. 2-0 to the orange. They proved to be too good for Danes. ALthough they were fortunate to get the first goal. Dirk Kuyt managed to pass the ball into the net thanks to some brilliant play by Elia.

Can't wait for the Italia-Paraguay match

Well the truth is I expected much more from the Dutch in that first game. Still a 2-0 win with a rather mediocre performace is a good result. Elia certainly added plenty of energy in the team.

23mins gone Japan 0-0 Cameroon, a rather mediocre game.

Holland was disappointing. Van Persie failed, looked like he was tired. Elia added some fire to the team. I hope he starts the next match. But I think Holland will peak later at the tournament. Last tournament we peaked to early by dominating France and Italy but losing against Russia.

And nice to see you here cnavLaughing Some good old SAU members.
