Rocket League's big free-to-play update is coming next week

Rocket League's free-to-play update is almost here, it launching next week on September 23rd.

The free to play version will be available on all versions of the game. With a new update coming this September 16th to prepare the game for the upcoming update. This includes cross-platform progression, Legacy items, and more tracked through an Epic Games Account.

The game will be removed from Steam but those who own the title can still play the game. In addition, an online subscription will not be needed to play the game online for PS4 and Switch.
