Those outside the U.S. hoping to play South Park: The Stick of Truth with all the mature content that the show is known for will be disappointed. Seven scenes have been removed from the console version of the game within Europe, The Middle East, and Africa. In addition the Classification Board stated that certain scenes had to be changed if Obsidian Entertainment wanted their product to be sold within the country of Australia.

Each scene is 20 seconds long and have been removed from the EMEA console versions. These include a mini-game which a doctor performs an abortion on the player, a mini-game which the player performs an abortion on the character Randy Marsh, and five anal probing scenes involving someone being actively probed. I guess Australia still doesn't like anal probes.

The game will play as normal but instead of the scenes an image will appear, along with a description, selected by the creators of South Park Matt Stone and Trey Parker. South Park: The Stick of Truth launches on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC next week on March 4.
