Bethesda revealed a new title for Wolfenstein fans, a standalone prequel to last year’s acclaimed shooter Wolfenstein: The New Order, called Wolfenstein: The Old Blood.
Developed by MachineGames, the minds behind The New Order, The Old Blood will launch on May 5 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC digitally only.
The Old Blood, which is a two-part story, takes place in 1946 when the Nazis on close to winning World War II. You once again set into the shoes of Nazi killer and series hero B.J. Blazkowicz.
Part One of the story called Rudi Jager and The Den of Wolves has B.J. facing a maniacal prison warden in an attempt to break into castle Wolfenstein to steal the coordinates to General Deathhead’s compound.
The second act called The Dark Secrets of Helga Von Schabbs has our hero entering the city of Wulfburg to find a Nazi archaeologist who is analyzing ancient artifacts that threaten to release a dark power.
