People Are Already Using Pokémon GO For P*rn

We all knew it would Pokémon GO this way.

Any technology is only as successful as its ability to fuse with p*rnography. After virtual reality (VR) and Overwatch have pioneered the smut trenches, people have already started using Pokémon GO for some pictures that are not safe for work (NSFW). Because people are people and of course that was going to happen the second the application dropped.

Nudity aficionados know to turn to reddit for any fetish, which now brings us the latest subreddit, aptly titled r/pokemongonsfw. In case it needs to be said again, following that link will eventually yield full frontal nudity, so be aware of your surroundings at all times. That’s an appropriate reference to Pokémon GO’s start screen, but also a warning not to suddenly be looking at butts in public. While the subreddit is just brand spanking new, it does already have a few thousand subscribers, signaling the popularity of Nintendo critters and also a desire for other things. Submissions are not as frequent, however, though that may pick up as the app continues to roll out in different countries and people start to get bored with the game’s regular mechanisms.

Pokémon GO allows people to look for Pokémon, while walking around in the real world. Through augmented reality (AR), it’s possible to see a Pikachu, Squirtle or other creatures hanging around in the wild. More than likely, however, most people will just get loads of Rattatas and Zubats, because some traditions are hard to break. Since the app’s launch, Nintendo’s stock has significantly risen and several millions of users have already downloaded the game to their mobile device. Be aware, still, that regardless of how freaky you want to get with Pokémon GO, there’s a strong likeliness right now that the servers are down, as the app is struggling to keep up with the huge demand.

Go catch ‘em all.
