Whether it's FPS or RTS, World War II seems to be something we'll see quite a bit of this year. Entering the fray is Eugen Systems' newest title, Steel Division: Normandy 44. The developers promise over 400 detailed, historically accurate units that need to be used tactically in order to counter and defeat opponents. Battles are said to rage over three distinct phases, mimicking real-life scenarios.
Iconic military divisions like the American 101st Airborne or the German armored 21st Panzer Division will be available to play as in the title's single player campaign or multiplayer, the latter supporting 10v10 battles. Eugen Systems are the makers of such games as Act of War, Act of Aggression and the Wargame series. Steel Division: Normandy 44 is set to release sometime in 2017.
