Battlefield 1's next expansion, Turning Tides, is not that far off. Today, we've received a handful of new details on what will come with it. Two of the four new maps, Cape Helles and Achi Baba, will focus on the Gallipoli Offensive, the later being infantry-focused. Heligoland Blight will feature a naval clash around the cliffs of Rocky Cove, while Zeebrugge will follow the British raid on the Brugges-Zeebrugge port. Judging by their description, they will include naval, air and infantry combat.

The British Empire's Royal Marines will be the new playable faction. Six new firearms will be added, including the M1917 Trench Carbine and the Type 38 Arisaka. As for melee weapons, a Naval Cutlass and Grappling Hook will enrich the roster. The Infiltrator, the new Elite class, comes with a permanent sprint boost alongside the ability of calling in artillery strikes and setting up a mobile spawn for teammates. The L-Class Destroyer and C-Class Airship will also join the fray. Turning Tides will also add a new game mode, Conquest Assault. Promising a twist on the original Conquest mode, teams will fight over key areas, exclusively controlled by the defending team at the start of the match. The expansion's content will be made available in two phases. Most of it will come this December, while the Heligoland Blight and Zeebrugge maps alongside the new faction will be available in January 2018. Have a look at the full announcement on the Battlefield website.
