Spider-Man PS4, along with God of War and Shadow of the Colossus, is one of the most anticipated games of this year. As of now, the release date is a mystery but Insomanic has been providing a steady stream of information about its development. Recently the game's art director, Jacinda Chew, shared some details regarding the game.
Chew confirmed that Spider-Man will have a swan dive, with Spider-Man able to swing at the last minute or land on the ground. It looks like the development team is going to capture the swinging sensation found in 2004's Spider-Man 2. It's widely considered the best adaptation of the web crawler's web-swinging.
Chew did tease that the final box art for the game is approaching soon. Considering that the game is now being playtested and this new information from Chew it seems that development for Spider-Man PS4 is progressing well. Hopefully, Sony will provide a release date soon.
