Nintendo's mobile library has been growing and succeeding with titles such as Miitomo, Fire Emblem Heroes, Super Mario Run, and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. However, the next Nintendo game joining the mobile platform isn't an existing IP but a new game entirely.
Called Dragalia Lost this title will be co-developed by Cygames, who is working on Bayonetta 3. The first trailer is in Japanese and provides a short look at the title. With bright colorful animations, active battle, RPG elements, and exploration.
The game is free-to-play which means paid content is being added to the title. No word on whether loot boxes will be present but considering the recent interventions by various governments regarding loot boxes Nintendo may decide to implement a different type of premium system.
Dragalia Lost is set to launch this summer for iOS and android devices.
