EA and DICE hosted the first livestream event for the unveiling of Battlefield V. Confirmed was that the game will be set in WW2 along with new movement techniques. In addition, the official Battlefield V Twitter account confirmed that all premium content will be available for free.

During the livestream producer, Ryan McArthur stated that post-launch content will start in November 2018.
This is not only shocking but will no doubt draw more players into trying Battlefield V. A similar feature was also included in Respawn Entertainment's Titanfall 2.
Battlefield V launches on October 19th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
