Kinect Sports: Season Two debuted at No.6 on last week’s Xbox 360 sales chart, edging out recent releases like Rage and Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure.

“Getting the game polished to its current state has been a mammoth task for all at Rare and BigPark, but this is where we get the chance to down tools and step back for a breather while you experience it for yourselves,” a press release from Rare said.

Rather than refine the previous game, the Rare and BigPark-developed sequel to the 3 million-selling Kinect Sports includes six new games, including baseball, darts, golf, skiing, tennis and American football.

Though its E3 demonstration received a lukewarm reaction due to detection issues in the American football minigame, Kinect Sports: Season Two has garnered mixed-to-positive reviews.

Kinect Sports: Season Two is available now for Xbox 360 Kinect.
