Scribblenauts 2 announced for a fall release  News by c_rake

Last year's Scribblenauts was a huge hit having sold over 1 milions copies since launch, so it should come as no surprise that a sequel is on the way.

According to the latest issue of Nintendo Power (where the game made its grand reveal), the sequel will have a number of improvements including a 120 "new and improved" levels, a new hit system, a fleshed out level editor, a refined control scheme, over 10,00 new words, and, most importantly, the use of adjectives. So now you can modify items in various ways, which should open up more possibilities gameplay wise.

The game is schelduled for a fall release.

if the controls (and overall gameplay) aren't at least 348757649x better, then it isn't worth getting... UGH THAT GAME'S SO FRUSTRATING.

"Coming" is misspelled on the front page.

@Din5193: Oops, sorry about that. I'll get that fixed right now.

I hate to be the negative nelly, but this will probably be an insignificant step up from the original, and more of a quick cash in.

Ugh. That game sold well the first time because of the concept. It's boring and frustrating after the first 30 minutes. Sold my copy few days ago. I bought it for the hat though... I'll only buy it again if it comes with a bigger hat.

I do hope it keeps the franchise alive.
