Last year's Scribblenauts was a huge hit having sold over 1 milions copies since launch, so it should come as no surprise that a sequel is on the way.
According to the latest issue of Nintendo Power (where the game made its grand reveal), the sequel will have a number of improvements including a 120 "new and improved" levels, a new hit system, a fleshed out level editor, a refined control scheme, over 10,00 new words, and, most importantly, the use of adjectives. So now you can modify items in various ways, which should open up more possibilities gameplay wise.
The game is schelduled for a fall release.
