Details of the LittleBigPlanet 2 release date and Collector’s Edition have been announced. According to the Playstation Blog, LittleBigPlanet 2 will be out on November 16th. Though Media Molecule has stated the game has just recently passed the “alpha” stages (or at least that’s what they were hinting on), LittleBigPlanet 2 will be out before you know it.
Oh, but wait; there’s more! If you’re planning to preorder LittleBigPlanet 2, a string of goodies will be your reward. You’ll get a different set of extra items depending on the select retail store you preorder the game in.
Preordering off Amazon will earn you exclusive Ratchet & Clank costumes. If Best Buy’s your choice, you’ll get a Toy Story alien skin. And last but not the least, leeching it off Gamestop will result in you acquiring a Tron: Legacy costume (the Clu costume to be exact). All these preorder bonuses will also have 4 “Animals” costumes included. And if that’s not enough, SCEA has also hinted on more costume bonuses for soon-to-be-announced DLC, more specifically a Gonzo costume (you know, that one Muppet dude from Sesame Street).
