Oh my, it has been a long time since I've been around here, hasn't it?

Oh, and I got a new avatar! Made this for the Halolz forums, and decided to use it here as well. Can you guess who it is? And no, she doesn't normally have a top hat and a monocle, I just put those on her for the heck of it.

Anyways, am I the only one who's ridiculously hyped for the Halo: Reach beta? I just can't wait, it looks so amazing! I've also been actively trying to find a code for my sister to play, since she doesn't have Halo 3: ODST, but no dice. Anywho, hit me up if you want to play the beta with me. Alright, other stuff... Nintendo's gonna get a majority of my gaming time this year, I can see it coming. Pokemon SoulSilver, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Golden Sun DS, Metroid: Other M, Red Steel 2, the new Zelda... let's just say I've got my work cut out for me. Plus, rumors of the DS remake of Xenosaga I and II being localized into North America, and the DS remake of Fire Emblem 6 that, while not yet confirmed, is most likely going to happen... Nintendo, you sure like my money, don't you? 
And you sure as hell know how to get it out of me.
Oh, and I'm sure most of you have already tried it, but recently a flash game was released on Newgrounds.com called "Super Mario Bros. Crossover". Basically, you can play through the original NES Super Mario Bros., as one of six characters; Mario (from the Mario series, duh), Link (from The Legend of Zelda), Bill (from Contra), Simon Belmont (from Castlevania), Mega Man (from the Mega Man series, obvoiusly), and Samus (from the Metroid series). Each character has some unique things they can do, and makes the game unbelievably fun.
Alright, that's about it for me... I wish I had more to talk about than just gaming stuff at the moment, but meh, whatever. Oh, and the character blog is almost done. Just typing up #1, and taking my sweet time with it.

EDIT: Oh, there is something non-gaming-related! My brother is coming home in less than four weeks, after a semester studying in Japan.
