Part 2: More Movie Gallery Deals  Category: General

Games now 60% off

and.....

This ends up being a total of $35.

Okay, well the deals are too good to pass up, so I went back today with my sister. She ended up buying like 40 movies or something insane for $60...but anyway. I got these awesome deals for just under $40. I wasn't a huge fan of the Resident Evil 5 demo, but it seems like it could be a pretty fun game even if the controls take some getting used to. Plus I think I'll love the online co-op. I originally planned to get Street Fighter IV but then found Sould Calibur 4 for half the price. SC might be more my style anyway, because from what I've heard SFIV is really difficult to master, plus some the SC characters are cooler looking to me. Darth Vader . I don't know exactly what Zack & Wiki is, but my Wii could use some games and according to some reviews I've seen this is a AAA title. Should be fun. Then there is Bioshock 2, which I didn't originally plan to get, but I found out it was dirt cheap, so I decided there was no reason to pass on it, even if it ends up being a lot worse than 1. Lastly we have Year of the Yao, which was a funny title and have always thought Yao was a cool guy so I had to get that for the $2 or whatever. I thought about getting Watchmen, has anyone seen it?

So that's 7 great games for less than $100. I am going to be set on gaming for a long time to come.

Great choices! I think a movie gallary in my town is also having 60% sale too. I might go look for some deals too.

The Year of Yao? Is that a movie? Yao is Cool 8)

Come on, Bioshock 2 wasn't all THAT worst than Bioshock lol. Bioshock was totally amazing, Bioshock 2 was amazing.

Good deals you got there, hope you enjoy your new games!

Watchmen was a pure waste of my money. I wouldn't recommend it.

I liked RE 5 overall but also there is a lot I don't like about it, but that is more because of my gaming preferences than the actual game. So you may end up loving the game, and I hope you enjoy the others as well. Smile FetusZero almost has me talked into Bioshock as well so we shall see if I get it or not when I go pick up Assassin's Creed Brotherhood in November, until then my gaming is pretty booked solid though. Tongue out I watched Watchmen and liked it, so definitely worth the price especially if you find it cheap. Smile

More games mean more write-ups from you Laughing Your sister did a real deal purchasing 40 movies with just 60. That shop maybe closing down their business and selling everything with whatever they can :lol

Hm, I think Bioshock 2 is actually the worst game there. Tongue out

Great finds all around, though.

Watchmen was amazing (how'd we get on this topic?), but you can't go in there expecting a generic superhero movie.

Told you not to buy Bioshock II. But I can understand you couldn't turn that offer down. I like that word dirt cheap. Fits the game well. lol. Great bargain in total by you and your sis.

@Tanya : That's exactly right. Smile

@Din5193 : Second to last sentence.

@Sleven : I was thinking of you as I picked it up, but then I noticed there must have been a mess up on the price or something because if I remember that was one of the cheapest games ($6 I think it ended up being). It just came out this year didn't it?

Do they got older games there too?

avatar

@shaokid : I guess it depends how old we're talking. Mine had a bunch of PS2/Xbox/Gamecube games for $4.99 but most were just old sports games. I tried looking for hidden gems but didn't find anything other than Starfox Adventure, which I thought about getting but then I couldn't remember if it was the 64 sequel or that other weird one that doesn't actually involve space combat so I passed.

Resident Evil 5 & Bioshock 2 ftw! Laughing

Lol I didn't know they made a movie (documentary?) of Yao MIng. Interesting.

I should have gone there if I was in US. 35 bucks for these games and 60 bucks for 40 movies. Damn!! That is a great deal.

I got one opportunity like yours once. A book store, was closing down and they had documentary and movie collections too. And, I bout them all. They were like 250 -200 dvds. I paid them as if I was buying candies.

@Tanya : 200+ DVDs?!?! What could someone do with all those movies? Tongue out

That's crazy. I paid $40 for that damn game. It wasn't that bad but I had very high expectation and that's why I was angry. Beside being short, it didn't have much new to offer. But for $6, it's a damn good bargain.
