Being an All-Star is fun. Category: General

Some people have asked me why I'm so inactive in the forums. Truth is, with so much to think about, I'm having a hard time getting it together. Lately, it's been kind of difficult for me to get my bearings straight, with two summer classes to worry about. Additionally, I've also been busy doing a couple of reviews and previews that are about halfway done. It's not the work that's stressing me out; it's the thought of where to actually begin. Hopefully I can get my head together and do what needs to be done. But let's not dwell in depressing matters, shall we?

I feel like I've been repeating this a thousand times already, but I'll say it again anyway: Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty launch is upon us! I've been excited since the start of July; can't believe it's almost here. Thank God my friend has a pretty advanced computer. It basically betters my chances of getting to play it. I'll stay away from the multiplayer though. My experiences with it hasn't been very pleasant. I do love the story and characters, so single player all the way.

And since SCII is imminent, I thought I'd change my banner and avatar for this occasion. Also, I recently leveled up. Apparently, I'm an All-Star.

Speaking of which, the 2010 MLB All-Star Game is on Tuesday, July 13th. Definitely not going to miss that for the world. Before that, there's a Home Run Derby (which I will watch of course), and lots of other baseball-related events up at Anaheim this week.

Since I've been hearing alot of updates about the World Cup lately, I'm assuming I'm the only baseball fan here at NoobFeed. Oh well...

The only time I watched baseball in the stadium is that I watched a Spring training game between Dodgers and Padres in Arizona. It was fun to watch. The last time I watched a game (in a restaurant) is the final (or something like that like the one in Football which is Superbowl) where the Phillies won. Maybe it was 1-2 years ago. Other than that, I remember playing baseball games on NES or Sega Master System and I played baseball once or twice with my friends.

@Koshai: Ah, you could be talking about the Phillies/Rays World Series back in '08. Good series overall. It's funny I'm a huge baseball fan, but I've only been to a couple of games. The rest have pretty much been on television. Baseball overall has a very deliberate pace to it, which is probably why a lot of people find it boring. But somehow, its the one sport that gets me the most excited.

@Tanya : This is baseball he's talking about.

I've seen at least one or two other baseball fans here. Can't remember their names, one of them was a Baltimore fan and I think the other liked Oakland. I remember someone made a blog not too long ago about their favorite basball players.

I rep the Indians, but am not a huge fan of baseball because the game is just a little too slow paced for me.
