Demon's Souls is most likely the hardest game I have played before. However, that doesn't take anything of the quality of the game. It is an RPG based game with a lot of options to start a new game, and I was told by an experienced DS player that I should start as Royalty, because they start with the Soul Arrow spell and the Fragrant Ring, which allows you to regenerate MP. I wasn't aware of this litle secret and admit it's easier this way. When I started playing DS, probably I died around 50 times earlier in the first level, I said earlier because I wouldn't last 3 minutes...
I was slowly making some progress and today I have beaten the first boss of the game, which was... suprisingly easy. I still have to kill a sub boss in the level and probably it would take me a few days of pain and suffer, before moving to the next world. Also, I am starting to get the feeling of the game and enjoying it, even tought what awaits me ahead is trully a very challeging game. Got a few upgrades for my character and currently I am soul Level 8. Still need to figure a few things but I know I can make it. With time everything can be done.
There is a lot to say about DS, and that, I still have to discover myself. What I know is that I am getting addicted to the game and I am very happy about my purchase, it's a trully experience that everyone should try, even if you don't like RPG based games. Also, you need to prepare yourself to die... a lot in this game. To me, it is a different type of game, I have other preferences in gaming but I don't regret playing DS.
