PS3 Update  Category: Games

As many of you may know my 80GB PS3 stopped reading discs back in May.  So after a decent amount of procrastination this story is finally reaching it's great conclusion.  I gathered a stack of games that I no longer play (let alone touch anymore) I traded them in through Amazon for a total of 275 dollars.  That money became Amazon credit to which I used to purchase a new 160GB PS3 for $25 since I have Amazon Prime and get free two day shipping.  So my new PS3 should be here on Wednesday Laughing  Needless to say I'm excited to be getting a new fully working PS3 again.

Sweet, good job :] I always had a hard time selling games lol. Didn't know you could 'traide in' games on Amazon.. I knew you could sell on it, but trade in is new to me.

Doesn't Amazon always offer free shipping? I don't have any special account, but almost every single order above a specific amount ($39 CAD) is free shipping and takes around 1 to 2 days to get here.

Amazon's free shipping is the slowest option and usually (depending on the item) takes about 5 days to get there.  With Amazon' Prime you get free 2 Day shipping which can be really really useful if you order a lot of things from Amazon.

Usually I tend to keep the games, new or old. Coz I love to collect. Glad that you will be having a fully functional PS3!

It looks like you did a good deal. I had issues with my first PS3 and I had to wait around 3 months for a new one and I know the feeling. Have fun!
