A blog of inactivity and more...

Howdy , folks! 'tis me , Woozie. So as I stated in my previous blog , school's started and this year will be pretty much a slaughter for me. Since , in my wisdom , I decided to choose an intensive mathematics-informatics class , it was pretty inevitable that this would happen. The schedules are clogged with subjects and this year we have more demented teachers than last years. So until I get grip on my free time (which happens to be around 4 hours per day if it's not weekend) I'll be here mostly in the weekends but even then , not for very long. I come beat after 6 or 7 classes at school and I have to do homework as well , because the professors think we're robots. So there's like little time to listen to music or play the ocasional videogame/ musical instrument.

 

In other news , I'm now playing a few games (I do need to freshen up after school , don't I?). Settlers VI Rise of an Empire is a rather good city builder. It's quite easy to play and it takes advantage of intuitive gameplay mechanics. Perfect game to relax (and proof to the fact that there still are a few decent city builders out there). Another game I've been playing for a long time would be The Witcher. I'm almost near half of it and I have to say the game has a brilliant story. I reccomend this to anyone that wants to try an slightly different RPG. And last but not least , I've got Resident Evil 5. Which is nowhere near RE4 when it comes to quality. RE5 has sent the franchise over to the action genre. Bad move , Capcom , bad move ._.

 

On the musical side , I've been trying different genres lately. That's why I've been listening to Dethklok (Metalocalypse watchers know who they are :P ) , Eternal Tears of Sorrow (melodic death metal with symphonic elements ... nowhere as good as Scar Symmetry IMO , but nevertheless a decent band) , For My Pain... which is maybe the only gothic band I'm into and Korpiklaani and Ensiferum , two folk metal bands (Korpiklaani has some drinking songs you people should check out "Let's Drink" "Beer , beer" and "Vodka" are a few of them , not to forget "Happy Little Boozer").

 

I'm planning an avatar change soon and I'm apparently a clone of Jim Raynor's. When will I get to be Zeratul I wonder? I've also been visited by the devil , or at least so the visited stat says :P
