It's great that we could get rid of the attack in quick time. Now don't think it's a blog about movie. The title is from one of my all-time favourite movie Prestige (2006, Average Rating 8.4/10) The movie where a brother sacrificed a finger for a single magic trick.

 

Actually the blog is about Putting the LINKS properly over the board. For the last few weeks I've seen some users putting the links which don't work at all regardless of wherever it was (Blog, comment, post or even PM). This page was shown up where www part was missing in the link (RED Arrow directing upward) with a lovely  "no access".

 

 

 

Well some links take to the desired pages but we need to log in again !! Here's that page ..

 

 

 

As per my concern my links work properly. I'm not sure whether mine's is the easiest but I can assure this works very fine. So please share your way as I may find something more easier.

 

Okay let me put an example of how I do it. You know Pictures can talk better & so I'm doing it mostly by Screenshots. Suppose you're to put a link to Welcome Newbies Board. All you need to do first is to write the name of the link e.g. Welcome Newbies and then SELECT the text (of course this selected text part would show up as the link over the board).

 

 

Then click the link button from Text Editor box (Top Right).

 

Then this pop-up box will appear.

 

 

Then go to the page of which you're putting the link through another tab or window e.g. the Welcome Newbies board here and then COPY the WHOLE LINK (including http:// & www part) from the address bar.

 

 

Paste it over the URL bar of Pop-up box. You don't need to worry about Protocol (http://) or Link Type of the Pop-up box at all. Just let alone those as they are and Click OK button.

 

 

Now see you're done with it.

 

 

I think this should be of a Forum Thread rather than a blog but I just wanted to make sure nobody misses. I also need to know if there's a better way. Of course then it'll be posted over Forum as you know it'll be helpful for new comers. Moreover finding older threads are easier than older blogs.

 

Meanwhile devs are still working with notification issue. So it'll be great if you see any glitch & let them know your feedback. Here's an wild Trick. Suppose you're to mention 5 people in a comment or post. Do it like this:

 

@User1 @User2 @User3 @User4 @User5

@User1 : Comment

@User2 : Comment

@User3 : Comment

@User4 : Comment

@User5 : Comment

 

This trick must work (may also send notification twice to User1) as it has already been tested by myself & FetusZero. So don't forget to thank this man along with junal. Now you can try this way as long as we get the issue completely fixed.

 

I'm not sure about Level caps issue whether it's now working fine with each & everyone or not. But I was told to keep track of some who had trouble with it in recent times So I'm keeping an eye on canana, -Moroes-, David_D & myself. Let me know if anyone else wanna get tracked.
