Borderlands 3 Graveward Boss Fight Guide
Take down Eden-6's Vault Monster
by Grayshadow on Sep 19, 2019
You've taken down Aurelia and now the vault is open. Be prepared, as the monster guarding the inner sanctums of the Eden-6 vault is one of the biggest bullet sponges in the game. Here's how to defeat the Graveward.
The creature has a massive amount of health and close-range weapons are useless here. Use mid to long range weapons here and if they cause damage over time that's way better.
The Graveward has 2 weak points on its arm. These are only vulnerable when the creatures slams the arm into the wall, exposing a giant glowing orb to destroy. That's your primary target. Other weak points include the tiny glowing orbs on its body but they're hard to hit and do cause the most damage. If you do enough damage into the tiny weak points the creature will enter a state of injury.
During the fight, the Graveward will attempt to flip the stage. You must fall into 1 of the 2 holes or you'll die instantly. If you're going to miss the hole start jumping to land inside and do it quickly as boulders will fall down as well.
In addition, the Graveward will sprew toxic chemicals on the stage. Some leaving a gas that you must avoid. If you need health or ammo there are disposable enemies constantly appearing ont he stages that can be 1-shot.
During the 1/3 of the fight, the Graveward will start to use a high-power laser. This will set the stage on fire but leave some parts untouched. Keep an eye for this but fortunately, if you've been killing adds the health pickups will remain in case you get hit. The Graveward will also start slamming its hand on the stage and causing orbs of corrosive orbs to spread from the point of impact; these are easily avoidable.
This fight is long, took me about 15 minutes to take down the boss. It requires a great deal of patience and strong weapons but it can be done.
