Devil May Cry V's first real boss is manageable but can destroy cocky devil hunters if not taken seriously. Here's how to defeat Qliphoth Roots.

Unlike the other enemies leading up to this encounter, the Qliphoth Roots can only be damaged with fire attacks. That means exceed your Red Queen by tapping the triggers or if you upgraded to the instant Exceed pressing down the charge while an attack hits for an instant charge. Just attack the plant until his health reduces to 0 and avoid the tentacles.
