Game Guide by Ornstein on  Dec 06, 2024

Allow Infinity Nikki to take players on an epic ride of discovery through the whimsical and charismatic world of Miraland, where absolutely anyone can express their most distinctive and quirky style. Indeed, it will be a virtual exploration in which one can create memorable moments by using one of its innovative camera features, amazingly opening the thrilling and engaging Photo Mode.

With this in mind, here is a broad and detailed guide that will explain comprehensively how to successfully unlock and proficiently use Photo Mode in Infinity Nikki.

Photo Mode - How to Activate

As you progress further through the game's storyline, you'll notice that Photo Mode becomes available for you. Let me put it more precisely - it will be unlocked for you upon completion of the Land of Wishes quest, one of the most eventful quests to happen within the city limits of Florawish.

During this quest, you're supposed to be helping two kids who are present in the hustling and bustling main square of the town. Upon completion of this duty, you'll be approached by one of the NPCs known as Bebe. He shall provide you with a camera-like device that lets you take pictures and hence activates Photo Mode by using the "P" key on your keyboard.

Also, during the shooting of Nikki, Momo should not appear on the screen during the entire shooting activity.

Photo Mode Features and Controls

Primary Control Elements

  • P Key: Enables/disables the Photo Mode menu.
  • WASD Keys: Movement of the camera
  • Mouse Left Button (hold): Rotate the camera.
  • Right Mouse Button (hold): Rotate Nikki.
  • Zoom in and out: Mouse wheel.
  • H Key: Icons hide.
  • Press the Spacebar to take a picture.

Tabs and Functions

  • Camera Tab: can change focal length; rotation is enabled, and it can also hide Nikki, NPCs, or Eureka equipment.
  • View tab of Graphics: Brightness, Exposure, Contrast, Shadows, Vignette, Soft Light - use the sliders.

Poses, Lighting, and Filters

It's on the Poses tab, though, that things get very interesting indeed, with over a dozen different poses letting the player freeze the animations at some very specific moments for optimal control. There's even a special button that keeps Nikki facing the camera no matter the angle. The "M" key on your keyboard seamlessly cycles poses and perspectives, and sometimes, you might even notice the NPCs around you joining in the fun.
