Games by Canana on  Sep 14, 2009

Hello, everyone. It's been a while since I've posted a new blog post, and I thought it would be a good idea to give you all an update.

I decided to purchase from the PSN store a game that has been on my wish list for a long time, but probably because it has received not-so-good ratings, I wanted to wait some more time, but I still wanted to try it. Probably because it has been a while since its release and because I've heard that some of the issues have been fixed. I'm talking about SOCOM: Confrontation. I am a big fan of the series, and I have played all of its previous titles. I was expecting some next-gen improvements, but I think I was disappointed. Still, I am enjoying the game. For the ones who think that SOCOM is all about hit and run like Rambo s.t.y.le., you're totally wrong. This is all about tactics. I've also achieved a few trophies and a platinum might arise, depending on a 'small' requirement: 5000 kills.

A few days ago, one of my favorite franchises was Tomb Raider. I've been a TR player since Tomb Raider III, and TR: Underworld makes me think that the game is back to its roots: Platforms, puzzles, and ... platforms. That's all I need to enjoy a good Lara Croft game. Playing this game is so relaxing, and I must admit the passage to the next-gen was a success, at least in graphical terms, because this game has a terrible camera issue. Taking that small detail, everything is beautiful and enjoyable. I'm in the 5th campaign, and I've been playing at a very slow pace, exploring the levels, and picking some treasures along the way. I'm not dedicating my full time on this game, I play it on my SOCOM breaks. I'll deal with picking all the treasures and relics later. ;)

That's all for now. I hope you all are doing well. I know that some of you have been waiting for a preview of a certain demo, but there is a delay; something didn't occur as planned. My apologies. It will be published tomorrow (and today is September 14th at 11:23 p.m.).
