A Secret is a hidden chest that is a little off the main path. When you find one, get close, call Mui, and hold down the interact button until the chest opens. You can't miss anything because you can replay any chapter, but saving is important. When you open a chest, move forward until you see the next checkpoint icon. This will lock in the pickup.

Chapter 1: Secrets

In Find A Way Out, Secret #1 is in The Shipwreck. After you leave The Captain's Quarters, you will have to go under two hydraulic presses. Instead of following the most natural exit line after the second press, keep going right. If you sprint, it's easy to run past the chest that's tucked in front of you.

Chapter 2: Home, Sweet Home

There are no secrets here. Use this chapter to reset your pace, then move on.

The Cure in Chapter 3

This chapter has Secrets #2–#5, and most of them give you rewards for taking small detours. The second secret is close to the beginning in The Mountains. Don't climb the second wall right after you climb the first one. First, go to the right, and then drop down to the chest.

The third secret is in The Mountain Mine after the snow part. You take a big lift down, and then the chest is in a small room to the left of the lift exit.

You can find Secret #4 in Demoa during the part where you carry flowers underwater. You get to thick seaweed with a huge creature in the background after passing through a small fishing village. Go to the surface and then climb onto land on the left.

The fifth secret is at the bottom, where the submarine is parked. Keep going until you see a diagonal moving platform that keeps you out of sight of a security camera. Ride it up, then jump across the platforms on the right to get to the chest.

Chapter 4: Mui's Trip

There are no secrets in this chapter, so keep going.

Chapter 5: The Foe

In Wemari Forest, close to the second wasp nest, is Secret #6. You will get to a place where Mui lets go of a rope so you can swing across. After the swing, jump up into the gap at the top left that you can't see. It's easy to miss this secret because the main path pulls you forward.

There are no secrets here.

Chapter 7: Getting Back

Secret #7–#10 is in this chapter. The Wastelands starts with Secret #7. After you use a magnetic bot and leave it behind, look for two small bots on the ground that are broken and flashing red. To find the chest, go under the platform to the right of them.

In The City, after the second fish-control segment where you block security cameras, you can find Secret #8. Go up in the lift, then right away slide under the wall on the left at the top.

Secret #9 is not far from the city, in a room underground with two big fans in the background. To get to the chest, go through the pipe on the left.

The End has Secret #10 after the train part. In the secret base, find the exit that leads outside to a snowy area. Instead of going out, jump to the left.

Chapter 8: The Journey of Temati

There are no secrets here. If The Secret Trail doesn't open, the quickest way to fix it is to play the chapter you rushed through the most again, open the chest again, and hit the next checkpoint before quitting.
