Podcast Locked In: Gamescom 2014

This week Dave and Jack get together to discuss the gaming news that came out of Gamescom this year.

Starting off with the Call Of Duty Advanced Warfare they try and agree that this is a good move for the future of the franchise and a much needed overhaul for those of us that have got tired of the annual release but alas it's never that simple with them and of course TitanFall crops up in that discussion.

Following that the guys look over Microsoft’s conference and hit straight on the point of Rise of the Tomb Raider and it's "Holiday 2015" exclusive release on Xbox One which leads to Dave pointing out in detail that the gaming industry is about generating profit and not making us gamers warm and cozy all the time. That leads them off the chat about the rest of the games coming to the Xbox brand and of course Halo gets a mention.

Next up is Sony and as you will clearly hear Jack doesn't look at the PS4 as his lead platform anymore as the lack of AAA announcements and heavy focus on indie doesn't appeal to him as his PC is place he plays them on. PlayStation TV, Share Play and all the other games get a mention as well.

Rounded all off with a look over what we've been playing.
