Preview: 2010 FIFA World Cup

Games by Canana on  May 10, 2010

Personally I have a rather skeptical opinion about games like 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa. Just as many people feel shocked with DLC after DLC, usually look at the World Cup and Euro versions of the FIFA series with many doubts. My first reaction is that these games are party members who should be the primary game in FIFA 10. But after playing the demo for 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa downloaded directly from PSN, my opinion changed. Instead of seeing the World Cup version as something that was removed from FIFA 10, I see it as a prototype of what will be near the end of the year whether FIFA 11 comes out. I still think, however, that 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa is something that should have been included in the ultimate success of the series. Nevertheless, 2010 FIFA World Cup provides not only the simulation of real competition, inspired by some of the modes of FIFA 10 and adapting them to the theme of the World Cup. In Be a Pro we'll be able to create a player. Like Live Season 2.0, a way in which we can rewrite the story from earlier stages. There is a lot to choose...

FIFA World Cup in 2010 for my time with the game, fill the sharp edges left in FIFA 10. Small details are easier to spot for the players who spent more time with the game.  In 2010 FIFA World Cup, to choose the side, players will immediately see the definition of his controller (Classic, Alternative, New Alternative, Custom) and can with the R1 and L1 buttons to switch between existing definitions. Inside the field changes in relation to FIFA 10 still on the small adjustments and details. The first innovation that deserves note is the explosive environment and celebration worthy of the competition which is being disputed, with the confetti litter the sides and back of the field and the loud noise of the public. Also in the news yet about the presentation, we see the coaches of each team with faithful imitations and correctly identified when they appear. The players also took a dab of makeup but with few noticeable graphical improvements over the previous title.

Speaking of gameplay, like any new sports game, 2010 FIFA World Cup seems a little strange to those accustomed to FIFA 10. However, after spending some time with the teams in South Africa quickly lose their old vices and become accustomed to the new system. I feel obliged to emphasize the fact that the noticeable changes concerning to control our players are small nuances, nothing more. However, this step is in front, making adjustments to the physical game and keeping the past goalkeeper restless in their place without affording opportunities at every time an opposing player is approaching their zone.

The AI has also received due attention and in addition to adjustments to the goalkeeper, opponents make greater use of its capabilities than in FIFA 10, with players like Pirlo, Camoranesi, Xabi and Fernando Torres, among others, to exert control copy on the ball with a Skill Move. The major change that 2010 FIFA World Cup is presented certainly the penalty kick is seriously raising the difficulty level . The posture, pressure, placement and strength are factors that enter the conversion bid, leaving behind their times of luck and skill and embracing the coolness of the player in control. It is nevertheless an innovation that will be received, no doubt, with much controversy and resistance by most fans of the series.

Returning to the small things to finish, loading times are still present but this time the screen is filled by the coaches thoughtful instead of the arches of the stadium. The Arena is also not present in the demo, does not mean that will not mark its place in the final game. In short, 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa leaves me curious as to the end result and wanting to take your the national team until you have the cup in the hands of the captain. This is because in 2010 FIFA World Cup is proving a high intrinsic value rather than present as a poorly justified expansion.
