SEGA Genesis Mini E3 2019 Hands-On Preview | More Than a Collector's Item
A SEGA fans dream come true

Since the release of the NES Classic, these miniature systems have become insanely popular. But we've also seen these mini-consoles go over negatively, as seen with the PlayStation Classic. It's clear that SEGA took notes and create a nostalgia box that not only provides that classic SEGA Genesis console for display but an outstanding experience worthy of anyone's time.
The retro console is 55% smaller than the original model and connects to your television via HDMI and comes with 2 USB controllers. The system itself includes 42 titles ranging from the iconic Sonic the Hedgehog to the never released Genesis version of Tetris. Players are given 4 save state slots to leave off where you are playing. Unlike Nintendo or Sony's classic systems, returning to the menu requires you to hold down the Start button or hitting the reset on the system.
The controllers are a 1-1 recreation but lack the 6-button controllers some are aware of.
As someone who owns all the classic consoles, the SEGA Genesis Mini is one of the best. Not only for the aesthetic looks but the games it features.
SEGA Genesis Mini will launch this September 19th for $79.99.
