Sunday films edition is back in NoobFeed and today I'd like to recommend something different. "Lost in translation" is a comedy/drama film released in 2003, starring Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. The film's directed by Sofia Coppola and got an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.

Bob Harris (Bill Murray) is an againg movie star, who visits Tokyo in order to shoot a whiskey commercial. Charlotte (Scarlett Johansson) is the young wife of a celebrity photographer. They happen to stay in the same hotel, they feel lonely and they both don't speak Japanese.

They will soon become very good friends as, despite how bizarre it may sounds, they fulfill each other's needs. The plot of this movie is the plot of life itself. If you want to watch a movie with the same old story/package, this is not it. The film has plenty of comedy elements, but it's also adramatic one, showing both weaknesses of a man/woman's age.

Quote of the film: Bob Harris - Can you keep a secret? I'm trying to organize a prison break. We have to first get out of this bar, then the hotel, then the city, and then the country. Are you in or you out?
