Super Smash Bros. on Wii U and 3DS comparison video released

Super Smash Bros is coming to Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, and Nintendo has released a new developer video showcasing the differences between the two.
Project Director Masahiro Sakurai of Sora stated that the total number of characters within the 3DS version will be the same as the Wii U edition, but some of the stages will be different. The 3DS version will have more stages centered on handheld titles while the Wii U version will more stages themed on home console.
Both games feature different graphical styles, the Wii U version focuses on primary colors, visual effects, and benefits from the 1080p HD output. THe 3DS version will feature more cel-shaded characters so players can locate their avatars easier.
The video and website goes deeper into the new character models, such as Megaman and the Villager from Animal Crossing. Super Smash Bros. is set to launch in 2014.
