The Evil Within Let's Play

If you remember the original PlayStation console, congratulations you’re old. However it was also a glorious time for survival-horror fans. Games like Dino Crisis, Silent Hill and Resident Evil forced players into precarious situations with limited resources against terrifying creatures.

Over time new sequels and franchise would explore this genre in new, and inventive, ways. Games like Dead Space and Fatal Frame captured this same sense of tension, that death could happen at any moment. However those who first pioneered this brand decided to take another path. With games like Resident Evil, Dead Space and Silent Hill loosing their luster the creator of the survival horror series, Shinji Mikami, decided to breath new life into the genre with his newest project The Evil Within.

While it suffers from pacing issues and 2 incredibly annoying black bars The Evil Within is what survival horror fans have been craving for so long. Here’s is my Let’s Play and be prepared for a lot of bitching.
