The Last Guardian Trailer Analysis

The Last Guardian isn't vaporware, and it wasn't delayed. The next installement in the acclaimed Ico series will release by the end of this year! With it came a brand new trailer showing more gameplay footage in two minutes than when it was first announced. Let's dissect the trailer!

More than One Trico

Trico has captured the hearts of many gamers, however we never saw two of them in the same scene. In one shocking turn of events we see that there are more of Trico's kind and some of them are hostile. One of them, heavily armored, approaches the boy aggressively with Trico no where around. 

Trico is a Prisoner

Trico is seen with a tether around his neck, appearing hostile towards the boy. We already determined that their are others like Trico but it seems that Trico has been abandoned, perhaps due to his injury. During the final moments of the trailer the boy ask "What's wrong. Are your wings broken?" which would explain why the duo doesn't simply fly away. 

The Last Guardian will launch on October 25th for PS4.
