Witness The Full Spec Ops: The Line Story With Us From Start To Finish

Chances are that you’ve heard around the grapevine that Spec Ops: The Line has a great story. I also heard of this news; this heralded song that sung about a shooter game with evocative traits. Even though the time I spent with it earlier said nothing special whatsoever, I recently took a deep plunge and ponied up some cash for the entry fee that is the Spec Ops ride. I wanted to be certain of my every emotion, every turn spent in this rollercoaster that I cataloged every second of it in a gameplay project from start to finish.

What follows is a frustrating tale of annoying simplified controls that break the flow of the game to give you one shooting gallery after another. In that sense, this shooter hasn’t changed from the demo you can try out for yourself. However, there is a little more to the story than this introduction would let you believe. In particular, the big twist in the middle and the ending that wraps up the game and still leaves a lot open to interpretation are the pinnacles of this endeavor. It’s just sad that you have to wade through ill-designed cover systems and unappealing murdering matches to get there.
