Yes, NoobFeed is in need of a new Community Manager! I have resigned and abandoned the position because I will not have time, nor have I had time to be a Community Manager as one should actually be. I have been too busy with school, work and other projects these past months, thus the decision was made fairly easy.  I have said that this is only a temporary position from the very beginning already and that I will be replaced once we find someone more suitable to take the place. Well, we haven't found one yet but I am sure we will very soon. He needs to be the most active user, he needs to know the community, participate in discussions, create and organize contests and other events, inform the community about various changes and so on. These are the duties that a CM needs to do, and obviously I failed in doing so.

This is not goodbye though, because I will stay with NoobFeed for a long time, however, will take another position. It's not yet clear what all I will do. I will certainly be working the marketing of NoobFeed, but my other tasks are not yet defined.  Fortunately or unfortunately you won't be seeing me too much as I will work behind the scenes most of the time. Though I will not discontinue writing blogs as there will be many exciting changes in the future that I'll want to write about.

  • Thanks for everything you've done whilst in the position. You'll pretty much be doing most of the thing's you were doing, only a little less resposbility/

  • Man, you were a good CM. ;(

    Posted Jul 30, 2010

  • Best of luck with your school works :) Don't forget to sign in when you get some time :)

  • @AC55

    You're just saying that. :)

    @Bizzy

    Highschool's over and I have already been accepted at the University - Business School (Faculty of Economics actually).

    Thus, I'll sing in and be quite more active now, but what had to be done had to be done.

    @Fishdalf

    I don't mind responsibility at all, but I see myself in another position at NoobFeed.

  • Good luck with your degree. I've learnt some economics while studying engineering. It's a good subject but I couldn't like it; may be because I was never good at it :(

    Posted Jul 30, 2010

  • Good luck at the University! Wish you the best of luck.

    Posted Jul 30, 2010

  • Perhaps responsibility is the wrong word.

    Posted Jul 30, 2010

  • Best of luck in what you are searching. We worked together just only a few weeks, but in that short amount of time you gace me a good impression about being an active community manager. Good luck!

  • I've seen Ron posted that you are now in charge of the marketing team. Maybe it's better for both you and the site :) I hope I will see you around though.

    Posted Jul 30, 2010

  • Awww :'( I miss ya already. Hope to we can still stay in touch.

    Posted Jul 30, 2010

  • Good luck with what you will be doing :)

    Posted Jul 30, 2010

  • Well I thought I wrote that this is no goodbye, as I am still part of NF, and will be MORE active as I was now. I just needed to step down from the CM position because we will benefit more with some one else in the postition and myself somewhere else.

  • I had very high expectations since Ron spoke so highly about you all time. It is sad to see you resign from the CM’s chair but on the other hand I’m happy that you will be working with another team. I wish you good luck with whatever work you do for NF and IN :)

    Posted Jul 31, 2010

  • Best of luck with all that you'll be doing! And please do post a blog every now and then!

    Posted Jul 31, 2010

  • Dude you are good at marketing, not to mention you have a huge network. Just imagine what happened in IN. Its because of your good network. You will do well as part of the marketing team for NoobFeed. And when IN comes back online, things would go even better for you.

  • Goodbuy community manager, hello Domen the marketer (or replace that with any position you will get)!

    Posted Jul 31, 2010

  • I understand how you feel I'm in a similar situation.
