Made by Insomniac Games, Marvel’s Spider-Man was released in 2018 as a PlayStation exclusive only. The year it was released, Marvel’s Spider-Man proved to be an instant hit, becoming many people’s favorite game of all time. Despite its popularity, it was only within the reach of PlayStation players for four years.

Thankfully, it has very recently been ported to PC. More specifically, as of the 26^th of August, it was only released on Steam for two weeks. This might seem like a short amount of time, but apparently, it was enough for the modders to create great content for the players. Let us look at some of the best mods people created for this game. The Symbiote Suit
 

In total, there are 28 suits in Spider-Man. But none of these is the symbiote suit; what a shame! So, a player who goes by the name of “CSD59ALL” took the matter into their own hands to create this iconic suit and make a mod of it in this game for others to enjoy as well. This suit is only a recolor of the webbed Raimi suit, but it works perfectly. Thankfully, you cannot use it to bully people like Peter does in the third installment of the Raimi trilogy. But combined with the interactions you can have with people on the ground, the black symbiote suit will lighten up your mood instantly.

Games are always improving with new engines and new technics created by different artists. So many games that look realistic to us now were only a dream a few years ago. The graphics of Marvel’s Spider-Man are not the most cinematic or the most realistic graphics you have ever seen, but it was incredibly well-done for its year. But, of course, it could always be improved. Made by “TheRealAB”, this mod enhances the game’s graphics immensely. Though this mod is only a reshader, it is so good that you instantly find yourself in a Sam Raimi movie, ready for pizza time! Many of us who dreamed of a game like the 2002 movie can now satisfy their childhood dreams.
 

Peter Parker over Fear Itself Suit
 

Marvel’s Spider-Man takes about 17 hours in total to complain about the main story, and nowhere in these 17 hours can we see Peter just walking about in his own clothes. While this is totally acceptable, with his secret identity and all, modders thought it would be a fun idea to swing around as the man behind the mask. Made by a modder who goes by the name of “keyofdarkness55”, this mod replaces the Fear Itself suit with the appearance of Peter Parker. In an alternate universe where Peter Parker does not hide his real identity, this might have worked out perfectly!
 

Black Cat over Mary Jane Watson
 

Let us admit it, most of us have or had a crush on MJ. Although she was mostly an inactive character in the original series, Marvel’s Spider-Man brings us a different version of our beloved reporter. There are quite a few missions where the player controls Mary Jane as she sneaks into many different locations and mostly dangerous situations.

She is lovable as always, and yet modders thought of an alternate universe where this character is not MJ but someone completely different. Created by “SpideySansGoku”, this new mod changes Mary Jane Watson into Black Cat. Yes, it is exactly as it sounds: You control Black Cat instead of Mary Jane Watson. It indeed brings a new dimension to the game, especially if you love Black Cat!

Multi Color Anti-Ock Suit
 

Anti-Ock Suit is a game that you can get at the very end of the game. It is completely black and has a shiny texture, with a yellow spider in the middle. However, the suit itself is pretty cool; not many people like the color yellow. So, with this mod, you can have a different colored spider every time! This mod is made by a user called “JPTHEHERO”.
