The Last of Us Part II Latest Trailer Provides an Inside Look at the World

Today, Sony released 2 new videos for The Last of Us Part II. A cinematic commercial showing off Ellie fighting off enemies and a new documentary showing off the world.

"The Last of Us Part II - Inside the World" provides an in-depth look at the new locations, factions, and threats that Ellie will encounter on her journey for revenge. We get a look at Jacksonville and how it provides an escape from the horrors of the outside world. With families able to grow, love, and live normal lives. The entire town is flourishing with shops and activities thanks to increased food production, cooperation, and security. However, these things don't last.

We quickly see the horrors Ellie will encounter, both human and infected. We get the same summary for the Washington Liberation Front and Seraphites, including their combat techniques. With the WLF using dogs and the Seraphites using bows and arrows.

The infected look even more gruesome, with the Clicker specifically having more of a plant look that is simply unsettling. The original design was horrifying but here it's pure nightmare. 

The Last of Us: Part II launches on June 19th for PS4.
