WB Games has announced that Injustice Gods Among Us is free of charge for a limited time. So far, only the North American region is confirmed for this promotion; those in Europe, Asia, or elsewhere may have potential issues with this offer.
The Ultimate Edition of the game can be fully downloaded on Steam and PlayStation 4. Xbox One players will have to go through a few hoops: the Microsoft Store will instead present the base game on Xbox 360, and not all DLC appears to be currently free. Still, with Xbox One’s backwards compatibility, the Xbox 360 version will run as well as other console counterparts.
Those fortunate enough to acquire the Ultimate Edition will have access to extra characters like Lobo, Zatanna, and Batgirl. This version also contains “premium skins” which not only change a character’s looks but also voice (while retaining their normal move list). This allows play of characters who have shared super hero identities, such as Jay Garrick as the Flash and Terry McGinnis’ future Batman.
