Cyberpunk 2077 has a new hotfix available resolving the dreaded save file corruption issue.
For those unaware, the issue was presented to CD Projekt but the response to the massive problem was meant with a lukewarm response. With gamers told not to craft or loot too much stuff in the title and that the game isn't meant to be played a certain way. Guess the team went back on that disaster of a PR statement.
Hotfix 1.06 is available on PC and consoles! Here is the full list of changes:
Quests
Dum Dum will no longer go missing from Totentanz entrance during Second Conflict.
Console-specific
Improved memory management and stability, resulting in fewer crashes.
PC-specific
Removed the 8 MB save file size limit. Note: this won’t fix save files corrupted before the update.
