Facebook Demonetizing Call of Duty Warzone Cheaters

Facebook removes Call of Warzone Cheater after being exposed

By Grayshadow, Posted 02 Feb 2021

Call of Duty: Warzone is rampant with cheaters and despite Activision and the developers attempting to resolve the issue more and more keep rising. However, many are not smart and often showcase they're cheating, live on stream. There are channels dedicated to just catching these people and recently Facebook is taking a stand against them by demonetizing cheaters in Warzone.

Facebook tells me they have fully demonetized and removed from their Level Up program the Call of Duty Warzone cheater that Vikkstar spoke about in his video, along with several other accounts streaming cheats. Facebook says it will be stepping up efforts against streaming cheats

According to eSports consultant, Rod Breslau after a pro Call of Duty player Vikkstar spoke about a specific cheater the person was banned. With Facebook representative coming out to confirm they will start removing players from their Level Up monetization program if caught. The person can still stream content though.

This is becoming an ongoing issue with players as cheating programs become increasingly more popular. Skilled users are selling these programs and developers have to continually keep up with the new cheaters while attempting to balance the game and add new content. Considering Activision Blizzard's notoriously bad workspace culture such as heavy crutch, paying employees the bare minimum, employees going hungry, and firing employees to turn a profit having to deal with this hellish situation during a global pandemic isn't helping.

Especially since these people were cheating live and still were able to monetize their content.
